Driving
Road conditions in Spain are generally good, although some remote roads on the island may require extra caution, particularly at high elevations. Traffic regulations are similar to those in the UK; make sure you turn to the right side of the road when exiting car parks and fuel stations. Traffic fines are issued on the spot. Buses
There are three bus routes serving the airport. Route 22 heads to Arricife every 25 minutes from 07:00 to 22:40; the trip takes around 10 minutes and costs about £1. Terminals
Lanzarote Airport is comprised of two terminal buildings: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is used for domestic and international flights, while Terminal 2 is used exclusively for flights within the Canary Islands. Passenger facilities are split between two levels in both terminals. There is a 200 metre walkway connecting the two buildings.
Parking
There are two car parks on site; P1 is located adjacent to Terminal 1 and offers more than 1,000 spaces, while P2 is situated at Terminal 2 and features an additional 200-plus spaces. Prices are the same at both facilities. A 60-minute stay costs about £0.70, while each hour thereafter costs about £1. The daily rate for the first four days is about £9 per day and each day thereafter costs about £7.

Airport information counters are available on the upper level of Terminal 1 and on the lower level of Terminal 2. There is also a tourist information office on the ground floor of Terminal 1, near the Baggage Re-claim area.

Lanzarote Airport offers a wide array of shopping outlets in Terminal 1. These include Buy Bye (lower level) and Canariensis (upper level) duty-free shops in the passenger-only area. In the public zone on the upper floor, travellers can find a pharmacy, jewellery and accessories at Lava and a great selection of toys at the Sweet Market in addition to gifts, clothing and fashion items at the Ocean Company and Shop-in-Store.
