A magnificent fairytale castle stands high above Bled on the hillside, which overlooks the crystal clear lake below. If you decide to visit the castle there is a lovely, fairly expensive restaurant and also a museum. Visit the 9th Century church on Bled Island, and get the chance to ring the bell.
