Driving
Driving in Gibraltar is on the right-hand side. Seatbelts are mandatory for all passengers. Using the car horn in town is prohibited. Self-driving is an easy option in Gibraltar and a convenient way to explore the town as well as southern Spain. Other transportation options from the airport include buses and taxis. The journey into town from the airport takes less than 10 minutes.
Taxis
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal building. Those heading into Spain need to walk a couple minutes to the La Linea side and the taxi rank there. Gibraltar taxis cannot operate in Spain. The trip to the town centre from the airport takes less than 10 minutes.

Buses
Gibraltar has a good bus network and routes 3 and 9 ply the airport route and town centre. During weekdays, the buses run about every 15 or 20 minutes, but less frequently at weekends. Buses are an affordable way to explore Gibraltar, with single tickets costing roughly £0.60. Buses from the airport run from 07:20 to 21:00.
Terminals
The airport has one terminal which services about 500,000 passengers a year. It operates between 07:00 to 21:45 daily. Three airlines currently fly into Gibraltar Airport: British Airways, EasyJet and Monarch, all of which provide direct links to major UK airports.
Parking
With the number of passenger arrivals at the airport increasing, new car parks are being added. There is currently a 220-space car park adjacent to the airport and additional parking is being added. Parking is charged at approx. £0.60 an hour.
