Anybody who is coming to Quepos for the first time is going to be fascinated by its charm. Founded in 1519, it is now one of the most popular seaside tourist resorts in Costa Rica. It was once the industrial hub for the banana and palm oil industry. But now, those banana boats are being used for diving operations and fishing as a sport. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
