The Jackson-Evers International Airport specialises in amenities and services for both corporate and private pilots, whether they are home based or transient. In a previous life the airport was the Allen C, Thompson Field , a military and commercial application inaugurated in 1963 on behalf of Rankin County.
This name change isn't just cosmetic , the international status is accompanied with a Foreign Trade Zone and a resident United States Customs office.
As the Jackson -Evers International Airport increases and develops it's services to the Mississippi people, we also look forward to the guests from all over the world as we welcome them to Jackson, the City of Grace and Benevolence!
