Philadelphia has two climates, one in the mountainous interior and the other everywhere else. Expect colder temperatures in the interior in January with lows of -9°C, while elsewhere it is rarely colder than -3°C. The same is true in July; closer to the mountains it is as cool as 16°C and the rest of the state experiences highs of 30°C.
