What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

Prestwich is a suburb of Manchester city, in the borough of Greater Manchester, in England. The town was relatively undisturbed until motorways and a shopping centre brought in more people to the area. The town itself has some lovely buildings, which are definitely things to see if you visit Manchester. Its an ideal location to hire a car to see the sights of Manchester and it's surrounding countryside.

The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin has sections that date back to around 1500. The church is also known as St. Bartholomew's. St. Margret's Church has wonderful oak carvings by Arthur Simpson of Kendal.

Heaton Park is located east of Prestwich, and it is one of Europe's largest municipal parks at 640 acres. The Prestwich Forest Park is slightly smaller than this and is located on the western side of the town. It is comprised of Mere Clough, Philips Park, Waterdale Meadow, Prestwich Clough and Drinkwater Park. These areas are wildlife havens and there are a number of activities available for tourists to enjoy. There are also a number of sports, Football, cricket, Crown Green Bowling and Snooker and Billiards if any of these interest you. Bowling green facilities are located in Heaton Park.

There is good transportation between Manchester and Prestwich. There are many local buses, which provide transport to Salford, Burnley and Pendle. There are four tram stations: Besses o'th' Barn, Prestwich, Heaton Park and Bowker Vale. There is also a decent road access in the area for cars.

Manchester Airport is located only a short 20 minute drive to the south of the city center.
