Huntingdon is a quaint town located in the county of Cambridgeshire, east England. Huntingdon is a market town but is also more commonly known as Oliver Cromwell's birthplace, who was born in 1599 and educated at the Town Grammar School, which is now the Cromwell Museum.
Across the river from Huntingdon is the town of Godmanchester which you can get to via a beautiful 14th century bridge. The town is comprised mainly of 17th and 18th century buildings. The oldest building is the Manor House which has always been occupied and still exhibits period features. The Ramsey Rural Museum is housed in an 18th century farm building and various barns set in open countryside.
