Arlanda Downtown is home to Stockholm-Arlanda International Airport, which can be found just over forty kilometers north of the capital of Sweden. Stockholm-Arlanda International Airport is the biggest airport in Sweden. This airport provides service from seventy different airline companies, which are responsible for nearly twenty million trips each year. These airlines offer transportation to and from more than one hundred and seventy destinations, including Copenhagen.

There are several options when it comes to ground transportation to and from the airport. There are local trains, long-distance trains, high-speed trains, local buses and airport coaches. You can take your pick from a variety of taxi and car hire agencies that are available at the airport. There is a transfer bus available inside the airport free of charge.

Trains are generally the most comfortable as well as the fastest way to get to and from the airport. This mode of transportation is the most environmentally friendly out there today. The Arlanda Express high-speed train offers a twenty-minute non-stop trip to and from Stockholm and the airport. The long-distance train departs from underneath the Arlanda Central Station, just below SkyCity. The local commuter train provides service between Uppsala via Stockholm-Arlanda and Upplands Vasby with a connection to Gavle and Tierp called Upptaget with service to the airport every half hour.

There are four care hire agencies located at the airport found close to the long-term parking areas. There is a free transfer bus available for services between the car hire agencies and the airport terminals.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
