Mokpo is a port city located at the southwest of the Korean peninsular. The city is very easy to access from Seoul or from any place in South Korea. The Yudal Mountain is the highest point of Mokpo. This is situated at the end of Noryeong range. You will also see the fabulous Sobaek range from there. The Mokpo ports play a vital role as it's the major fishing port in the city and it connects a lot of other ports as well. The climate is very pleasing and one should visit just for the weather conditions here. You can enjoy the walk along the harbor side, which is located actually within the city borders, and relax on a sunny day. The fresh seafood you get there is a delicacy to many.
