With its interesting sights and its great transport links, the city of Bacau in east Romania is a great place for visitors wanting to really get under the skin of the country. It is virtually impossible to get lost on the linear structure of the city's roads, so exploring the area by car hire in Bacau is by far the best option.

The city is great for shopaholics with a bit of holiday spending money to spare, with the largest mall in the Moldova area, the Arena Mall, easily reached by cheap car hire in Bacau. This is also where the town's hypermarkets are located.
