Visitors may also take a car rental at Moss Railstation to the Storebro bridge which crosses the Mossefossen Waterfall. From the bridge are great views of the bold King Christian Fredrik statue as well as the prominent Koonventionsgarden.

Water activities are also plentiful, such as kayaking through the Lake Vansjo or canoeing through the Nesparken waters. Bathing opportunities are also available at some fifty beaches surrounding the town.

Transport

Car hire is the most convenient form of transport for getting around this region of Norway. There are numerous buses servicing Moss and it's surrounding towns which are reliable if you would rather not hire a car. 

Oslo is under an hour's drive away which can be accessed by car, bus or train. If you wish to visit Horten then take the ferry across the Oslofjord, which is the quickest way taking only thirty minutes.

The closest airport to Moss is Sandefjord Lufthavn Torp Airport, only an hour's drive south, including the ferry crossing from Moss to Horten.
