Genoa - Corso Sardegna Guide

Guide

The charming Genoa suburb of Corso Sardegna is an ideal location for tourists who like the convenience of being close to the city without having to stay in the centre. There are plenty of places to stay in Corso Sardegna and the area features some stunning natural attractions such as the Parco Gropallo.

Corso Sardegna is located on the bank of a gently flowing river. If you enjoy picturesque walks there is a lovely path which follows the course of the river, and there is also a regular ferry service, allowing visitors to cross to explore the far bank.

Invest in a hire car for the duration of your holiday so you can drive around in your own time and to places that pubic services wont reach. It is also possible to drive into the city centre in less than five minutes. There are also excellent roads leading up and down the coast from Genoa. With a hire car you are able to explore this stunningly beautiful part of Italy as you please.

The Aeroporto di Genova is just a 22 minute drive from Corso Sardenga and this is the main point of entry for most visitors, as the airport receives regular flights from a number of international destinations such as London, Paris and Munich. The easiest way to get around is by having your own car, so book in advance and collect you car on your arrival at the airport.
