San Benedetto del Tronto is a town of about 47,000 inhabitants in the province of Ascoli Piceno. It is situated in the southwest of Marche and the river Tronto and Adriatic Seas are present in the vicinity if the town. This is a slowly growing area of Italy and is moving towards urbanism but still some remains of traditional Italian culture and tradition can be found in the city.

As other Italian city, San Benedetto del Tronto too has a long history and was first found in the late 9th century. The most popular icon of the city is the Mastio Della Rocco tower created in the fifteenth century after the conflicts between Ascoli and Fermo.
