The beautiful, quint town of Pesaro is located in the Marche region of Italy, 24kms south of Catollica and 18kms north of Fano town center. The city has a variety of sights to offer its tourists. The Ducal Palace constructed during the 15th century is a must for everyone. The Romanesque Cathedral Basilica which has been build over the remains of a late Roman edifice is one of the most fascinating sights in Pesaro. The facade of the Cathedral is in Romanesque-Gothic style and has a simple oval portal surmounted by a band of small arches.

The Baroque Sanctuary is another great place and has been dedicated to Beata Vergine del Carmelo of the 18th century. St Augustine church with its splendid gothic portal should also be on the itinerary. The enormous Castle of Rocca Costanza is another mouth-watering treat for visitors to see. It exhibits a square plan with four cylindrical towers and had once been used as a prison, but today, it is simply used for tourism.

Rimini Airport, also referred to as Federico Fellini International Airport and Miramare Airport, services this part of Italy, and is located 30 minutes drive north on the outskirts of Rimini.
