There are a number of bus services to surrounding areas. A shuttle service runs from the airport to the nearest train station. This service takes around 20 minutes. Direct buses are scheduled every two hours. Journey time to Ferrera is around 1 hour, while the trip to Florence takes around 1 hour, 30 minutes. There are two terminals at Bologna Airport: one small domestic terminal along with a larger international terminal.
