What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

Sani Beach is a resort to the north west of the province of Kassandra on the Halkidiki region of Greece. The resort is famed for its clean and pleasant beaches and attracts many visitors each year looking for a relaxing beach holiday.

The resort lies close to the neighbouring towns of Pygros, to the north, and Stavros, to the south, both of which are a short drive away and can be easily reached by car. Further down the coast are the villages of Elani and Kalogria.

The capital of the area is Kassandra town, which is around a 30 minute drive inland. The main city is Thessalonika which is a 90 minute drive to the north. There are plenty of historical sites in and around the area and with your own hire car visitors can explore Acanthus and Mount Athos in their own time.

The main gateway to Sani Beach is through the airport at Thessalonika with flights arriving from all main European destinations. As Thessalonika Airport is around a two hours drive a rental vehicle is advised, or if you are not happy driving abroad then we do advise you to pre-book your airport transfer before you travel. Shuttle buses are available at the airport.

With Sani Beach being a popular holiday destination, hotels in Sani Beach are in plentiful supply together with private apartments and villas for rent. All the accommodation are easily reached by road, as are the restaurants, cafes and bars to relax in during the evenings.
