What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

The reason gave Carrentals an average is that we tried to call as instructed on the email to notify of late arrival. Held on for 20 minutes before call was answered to be told to call back when we knew exact time. Not great when you have to hold for 20 minutes. In fairness the guy did say he would call Budget to let them know. Also emailed and got a response the following day.

Though I always book worry

Though I always book worry free the hire company always try to sell you further insurance . It would be far less stressful if Carrentals conveyed the fact that the hire is "worry free" direct to the hire company
