Marathon has a whole series of holiday resorts that have been developed in recent years. The area lies on the east coast of Attica, and extends from Schinias to Mati by way of a number of beaches. It is a fantastic place to visit, if you're looking for a variety of things to see and do.

There are extensive beaches to the south of Marathon which offer excellent bathing and recreational facilities. Use car rental in Marathon to get down there, there are lots of fun watersports on offer. Along the edge of the beach are some restaurants which offer reasonably priced food and drinks, a day passes quickly when you get here.
