What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

Fourka sits on the west of the province of Kassandra in Greece and is a quiet yet popular resort for those seeking a summer getaway. A natural landscape slopes down the wide sands of Skala Fourka beach meaning that visitors get the best of both worlds during their holiday.

Towns and cities close by include the province capital of Kassandra which is around a 20 minute drive, and the main city of Thessalonika which is around a two hour drive north along the motorway. There are plenty of small fishing villages in and around the vicinity of Fourka. If you wish to hire a car to explore this region we do advise you to book before leaving for your holiday to get the best deals.

Thessalonika is the main gateway to Fourka with flights arriving to Makedonia International Airport from many European destinations. As Makedonia airport is around two hours drive away, a hire vehicle is advisable. Thessalonika has a great transport system with rail links both nationally to Athens and to neighbouring countries.

With Fourka being a popular holiday destination, there are plenty of hotels here, along with private apartments and villas for rent.

Wherever you are in Fourka there will be restaurants, cafes and bars to relax after those long sunny days and in the evenings there is live entertainment providing the town with good nightlife.
