What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

The reason gave Carrentals an average is that we tried to call as instructed on the email to notify of late arrival. Held on for 20 minutes before call was answered to be told to call back when we knew exact time. Not great when you have to hold for 20 minutes. In fairness the guy did say he would call Budget to let them know. Also emailed and got a response the following day.

Though I always book worry

Though I always book worry free the hire company always try to sell you further insurance . It would be far less stressful if Carrentals conveyed the fact that the hire is "worry free" direct to the hire company

Aghios Stefanos is a wealthy suburb outside of Attica, Greece. The suburb is just 23kms south from the capital of Greece, Athens. Since the 1970s, the suburb has been home to luxury residences, which due to its close proximity to Attica and Athens, make for the ideal luxury home both out of the city, yet close to the busy metropolitan area. Athens can be accessed via to main highways the GR-1 and the GR-83. Car hire at Aghios Stefanos is a good way to travel between Athens, Attica, and the suburb itself.

Aghios Stefanos is a fairly residential suburb housing mostly luxury homes with a few shops and restaurants interspersed in between. Most of the major attractions in the region lie in nearby Attica and Athens. Car rental at Aghios Stefanos is the key in this suburb which is fairly removed from most entertainment by at least 15 to 20kms.

Accommodation in Aghios Stefanos is varied and ranges from large hotels to small bed and breakfasts; these facilities differ in price from moderate to expensive. Limited shopping and dining are also available in the greater suburban area.

Day trips into Athens with cheap car hire at Aghios Stefanos are a good way to visit local tourist sites. Athens offers one of Greece's most famous archaeological sites, as it is home to the Parthenon and the Acropolis, amongst others.

Athens is also considered to be the birthplace of the Olympics, and appropriately, has hosted the event on three separate occasions since the modern international competition has come into place.
