Aghios Georgios is a small city on the Greek island of Corfu. Situated on the northwestern corner of the island, the small city has a population of just under 5,000 residents. Somewhat of a rural area in Greece, the small island city did not receive electricity until after the 1970s. Today, the city is relatively new as a tourist destination, although it is gaining more popularity as a resort site.
