What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

The reason gave Carrentals an average is that we tried to call as instructed on the email to notify of late arrival. Held on for 20 minutes before call was answered to be told to call back when we knew exact time. Not great when you have to hold for 20 minutes. In fairness the guy did say he would call Budget to let them know. Also emailed and got a response the following day.

Though I always book worry

Though I always book worry free the hire company always try to sell you further insurance . It would be far less stressful if Carrentals conveyed the fact that the hire is "worry free" direct to the hire company

Afissos is a beach town located on the Pelion peninsula in Greece. The town is small, but has become a popular tourist resort, especially with European tourists. The town boasts several excellent beaches, and with car hire at Afissos, Volos is only 26kms away.

Afissos is a small island settlement bordered by mountain ranges on the Pelion peninsula. The beaches in the region are the main attraction and offer excellent scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and waterskiing. The most popular beaches include Lagoudi, Ambovos, Aghia Euthymia, and Razi. The water nearby this town are known for their clarity and warmth.

Nearby Volos is also a popular tourist destination. Volos is a large port city, the third largest in Greece, and sits at the mouth of a large bay. The city is located at the base of the scenic Mt. Pelion, a popular tourist attraction.
