Hagen Train Station Guide

Guide

In the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, is the pretty town of Hagen. It is a much visited city as it is much quieter than the bigger cities, yet is still close enough to travel into them. The rail station is the main port for visitors, and car hire at Hagen Train Station is affordable and convenient.

The city's art quarter is a new development, with two museums to browse around both displaying a vast array of styles. The two museums are the Emil Schumacher Museum and the Osthaus Museum. It is in the centre of the city, so if you are staying a little way out of the centre, it might be worth using the car rental at Hagen Train Station.

The open-air museum is a large and rather unusual museum which exhibits how to make various crafts. There are numerous workshops in the grounds where visitors can watch the craftsmen at work and even try it out for themselves. There is even a brewery onsite where you can taste the beer.

The cheap car hire at Hagen Train Station is a great idea if you wish to explore out of the city. Visit Cologne or the other towns in the area, drive around the stunning countryside or visit the Hohenlimburg Castle.
