St. Brieuc Station Guide

Saint Brieuc is a historic town located in the department of Cotes-d'Armor in Brittany. The Saint Brieuc Rail Station is positioned about a half mile from the city centre and is served by the high speed TGV Atlantique service which departs from Montparnasse Station in Paris. Travel time to and from Paris is about 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Saint Brieuc Rail Station can also be reached by TGV from Rennes in about 55 minutes. The Saint Brieuc Rail Station is equipped with all the essential passenger amenities along with car hire services by Carhire 3000 and Auto Europe. The town has a number of accommodations, including several hotels near the train station.

The town has two deeply wooded valleys spanned by viaducts, giving it an unusual aspect. Besides the impressive Saint Stephen cathedral, several half-timbered houses, and pretty views of the Tertre Aube valley, there is little to keep visitors here for long. However, it can be a good base for exploring Brittany by car.

Brittany enjoys a mild climate year round that makes the region an ideal self drive destination. A rental car gives you the option to visit rewarding localities such as the picturesque seaside resort village of Plouescat, the stunning historic town of St Malo, and Roscoff with its vital port. While touring Brittany you'll soon discover that the region is a great holiday destination as it has something for everyone.
