We highly recommend tourists to visit Rodez's old town, which exhibits the very large red sandstone 'Cathédrale Notre-Dame', constructed in 1277, and located along place d’Armes.
Heading south tourists will come across Place Rozie, situated outside of the Maison Cannoniale. From here, medieval streets connect Place de la Prefecture, Place de-Gaulle and Place du Bourg.
There is an abundance of eateries, one of the best being La Taverne, located at 23 rue de l'Embergue, which has local cuisine at reasonable prices. For gourmet cuisine, try the Gouts et Couleurs on 38 rue Bonald.
