What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

Hirtshals is a beautiful place in Denmark located at the north coast of the Vendsyssel Island. The population of the town is 6665 only. The place is famous for ferry harbors and fishing. Due to its location near the sea many people love to visit it to take a break from their busy and dull life and have some pleasurable and relaxing time over here. The town is famous for its aquarium home known as Nords?en Oceanarium. It is among the largest aquariums in Europe. The Nords?en Oceanarium is also called the North Sea museum and was built in 1984. The name of the museum was changed after the latest expansion in it. In 1998, a fish tank has been added. The fish tank has a capacity of 4.5 million liter water and there are more than 70 different species of fish inside it. Due to a fire, the fish tank was destroyed in 2003 and the Nords?en Oceanarium has been renovated in 2005 again.

Due to its location near the sea you will experience sudden change in weather and temperature. It may be extremely cold sometimes and the temperature may fall down to as low as 1.6 degrees. Summertime is quiet sunny and bright and average temperature is recorded up to 25 degrees. Moving from one end of the city to another has been made extremely easy by the car hire service.
