Kelowna is recognized as one of the largest in land cities in all of British Columbia. Travel into the city can occur via a flight into Kelowna Airport, through travel via the Highway 97 or via the Greyhound bus service into the city. Once in Kelowna, the time spent there will be less like a vacation and more like a movement from the hustle and bustle of life to paradise.

While Canada is not known for its beaches; the lake side sand is warm and sun laden during the summer months. The locals are known for spending hours upon end immersed in the many outdoor activities available throughout Kelowna. From skateboarding to long boarding, the land and the water meet in Kelowna.

The Downtown core of the city of Kelowna is easily reached with the public transportation offered by the city, but a car hire is needed to truly enjoy your time in Kelowna. A hire car allows you to come and go as you please without the limitations of public transport. Once you have driven into the town centre, there are two main parking areas for drivers. These include the Pandosy Street Park and the Library Park next to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Once parked, the rest of your travel into downtown will need to be made on foot.

Once you have parked and are ready to go, the shops, restaurants and attractions in the city core are just like those you would expect in a larger city. The amenities abound and while the city is big, the people make you feel as though you are right at home.
