Kitzbuhel is a very popular destination for tourists from all over the world and is considered one of the most traveled cities in Austria. It is very pricey to visit Kitzbuhel but worth every penny if your budget can afford it. You will find superb dining and world class resorts in this beautiful city.

One of the feature attractions is the magnificent Hahnenkamm, which is a massive mountain measuring over 5,400 feet. It is also home to World Cup downhill ski races during the winter and during the summer is host to the popular Austrian Open tennis championship.

Kitzbuhel is also the host to the world's largest aerial team and to explore this great city you can pick up a car hire from several different locations including the local airport. The city itself has less then 10,000 people but during major events the area explodes with thousands of people from all over. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
