The Adelaide Airport Flyer offers a door-to-door minibus service to Adelaide locations and beyond, with reservations advised at least 48 hours in advance. JetBus public bus services leave every 15 minutes from outside Terminal 1’s Domestic area and travel to the city and coastal suburbs. Fares run between £3 and £1.80, depending on time of travel. Bus journeys from the airport to the CBD usually take no more than 25 minutes.
The recently developed, single terminal caters to both domestic and international traffic to destinations within Australia and in Asia and the Middle East, respectively. It is frequently praised for its passenger amenities, including lounges, shops and wireless internet.
A new multi-floor, undercover parking facility caters to the short-term parking needs of up to 1,640 vehicles. It is directly connected to the terminal and charges around £20 for up to 24 hours and £4 for less than one hour of parking. Long-term parking is available at a seven-minute walk or short, free shuttle bus ride from the terminal. Rates here are around £15 per day or £30 for three days.
Terminal 1 offers free wireless internet access to passengers via AAL. There are also self-service internet kiosks next to Hungry Jack’s which accept coin or credit card payment.
Burgundy-clad Airport Ambassadors roam the terminal to provide assistance to passengers. The Information and Tourist Bookings desk is located on Level 0, across from International Arrivals.

Drop offs can be made near the new multi-floor, short-stay car park, with Customer Service Officers able to meet passengers with reduced mobility to provide assistance. Most eating and drinking options are located on Level 2, including the 1862 Bar for drinks, Café Terra Rose for coffee, Dreamy Donuts for sweet snacks and Hungry Jack’s (Burger King) for burgers. For a sit-down meal, Icons of South Australia offers tasty regional foods and wines.
There are no public VIP lounges at Adelaide Airport.

Three Travelex desks offering foreign currency exchange services are present in Terminal 1, both before and after security. Additionally, there are Foreign Exchange ATMs on the ground floor and Level 2 alongside regular ATMs.
Just about all of Adelaide Airport’s shopping outlets are located on Level 2, including the Airport Pharmacy (Shop 23) for sunscreen and over-the-counter medication, Australian Way (Shop 9) for souvenirs and aboriginal crafts, Blue Illusion (Shop 18) for women’s fashion, Duty Free Stores Australia (shops 14-16) for tax-free alcohol, tobacco and cosmetics, and Newslink (Shop 5) for reading material.

Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
