Excellent service From Carrentals

Excellent service From Carrentals. Since I originally booked the price came down a few times. A phone call later the car was rebooked at the lower price and a refund of the difference was made to my credit card. Had no problems collecting the car from Alamo and as I had booked Gold they didn't try to sell me anything else. When calling Carrentals the staff were very pleasant and efficient. No problems whatsoever. Will use them again.

I've used Carrentals many times and never had a hitch. I had to amend my latest booking nearer my holidays and that even ended up saving a few quid! The companies they use in Orlando are top quality (Alamo, twice this year). I will continue to use them in the future as my first choice.

Mixed Experience!

We used this site to hire a car for 3 weeks in Florida as it was competitively priced & had the worry free option where all charges were included. We had a mixed experience. Initially we were unable to find the hire desk at the airport as this did not match the company name on the paperwork. Once located we were quickly seen although we paid more money for breakdown cover! We were upgraded free of charge to a slightly larger car which was ready for collection straightaway. However it was really disappointing that the company knowingly hired us a car with a slow puncture. Once in day light we could see they had marked the tyre with an arrow indicating there was a problem, it repeatedly needed inflating during our trip. No other issues with the car itself, it was very clean and quite new. Drop off at airport was trouble free.

Orlando car rental via Europcar

Orlando car rental via Europcar. Booking experience was straightforward, at a competitive price. However a few weeks prior to the rental I noted that I had not received a confirmation voucher from carrentals, so I had to call them and ask for it to be sent. Which they did, promptly. All insurances were covered in the rental paid to carrental, so nothing additional (apart from paying for fuel twice on account of misinformation at the Europcar desk!).

If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
