Caernarfon, also sometimes spelled Caernarvon or Carnarvon, is a famous royal town in northwest Wales. Caernarfon is most famous for its spectacular Caernarfon Castle and for having the highest percentage of Welsh speakers in Wales. This historic town is easy to explore by car hire in Caernarfon.
