Fukuoka is sited on the northern shoreline of the island of Kyushu in Japan. Fukuoka is reported to be one of the most populated cities of the Kyushu region. Fukuoka is the largest city and metropolitan district west of Osaka and Fukuoka is greatly industrialized in the Northern Kyushu region.

Fukuoka has a number of attractions, which include the world's largest ferris wheels, the Sky Dream Fukuoka soaring at 120 meters. Fukuoka Castle in Ohori Park is also a major tourist attraction. Marine Park Uminonakamichi has an amusement park, gardens, petting zoo, and a beach front hotel.
