I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

Flying into Huahine Airport? This small domestic airport is the perfect way to start or finish your vacation in the French Polynesian Islands as it inspires relaxation with its tranquil position beside a small beach.

The airport processes over forty flights each week, including private charters, and is rarely crowded. While you wait for your flight you can browse the terminal's shops. A small souvenir boutique offers the chance to purchase last minute gifts for friends, while a snack bar can help you avoid mid-flight hunger.

A car hire service is also available within the terminal. While many hotels offer car hire services, hiring at the airport will save you from paying the nominal fees charged hotels.

Huahine Airport is located on the motu Maeva, which is halfway between Fare and the Sofitel Heiva. A Le Truck service is available for locations throughout the island, however these may be busy. Taxis can be found at a rank outside the airport. These can be an expensive option as the journey time to the closest town of the charming seaside village of Fare is just over fifteen minutes by car.

Many visitors to Huahine Island prefer to hire a car at the airport as it allows them the freedom to explore the island. While a Le Truck public transportation service is available relatively inexpensively, many visitors to the island find that it hinders their travel as it restricts them to fixed timetables.

Those who enjoy traveling independently can use their car hire to explore the island's small beach resorts, mountains and villages. In the north of the island you can choose to visit any or all of the fifty recently excavated archaeological sites with ease in your car hire vehicle.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
