What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

We booked a Yaris or

We booked a Yaris or similar, but on arrival were allocated a larger Hyundai Accent which was too large for my wife to drive. ECCR at Hobart apparently have very few Yaris-sized cars. Fortunately we were going to be passing nearby a few days later so were able to substitute the Accent for a smaller Kia Rio for the rest of our trip, but Carrentals need to check more carefully what sort of cars are actually available - size does matter, and a bigger car than you've booked isn't necessarily acceptable to all customers.

Good range of vehicles available. The main problem was lack of information about the additional cost of a one-way hire. When you initially enter details of the desired hire, your website shows the same price as for returning to the same location. Only when you proceed with the actual booking does the additional one-way hire fee appear. This is seriously misleading.

Mittagong is a quaint little town that is situated right in the Southern Highlands which is a Region located in the state of New South Wales, Australia. You will find Mittagong nestled in between Mount Alexander and Mount Gibraltar and the town itself has less then 10,000 residents making it an ideal spot for people looking for a smaller town to visit.

Mittagong was settled deep in the early 1800's by Sir William Chalker as well the cute little town is well known for its diverse cultural and deep rooted industrial history.. Mittagong is the first town to acquire an iron smelter which created several jobs in the area and was also home to the first coal mine in the region. Even after several years there was several iron ore deposits found in the nearby surrounding areas. Unfortunately the iron mills have since closed but a handful remain open for tourists to explore and make a great attraction to visit with your car hire.

Mittagong has experienced a huge decrease of traffic through the town due to a bypass that goes around the town but despite this they still receive a large flock of visitors each year. It is a great city to visit and one to put in your travel plans.
