What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

We booked a Yaris or

We booked a Yaris or similar, but on arrival were allocated a larger Hyundai Accent which was too large for my wife to drive. ECCR at Hobart apparently have very few Yaris-sized cars. Fortunately we were going to be passing nearby a few days later so were able to substitute the Accent for a smaller Kia Rio for the rest of our trip, but Carrentals need to check more carefully what sort of cars are actually available - size does matter, and a bigger car than you've booked isn't necessarily acceptable to all customers.

Good range of vehicles available. The main problem was lack of information about the additional cost of a one-way hire. When you initially enter details of the desired hire, your website shows the same price as for returning to the same location. Only when you proceed with the actual booking does the additional one-way hire fee appear. This is seriously misleading.

Millicent, Australia is a terrific tourist destination full of outdoor recreation areas. Local car hire services provide affordable rates enabling anyone to fully enjoy all that Millicent has to offer for its visitors. While in Millicent, one attraction that you must visit is Lake McIntyre. This is an old quarry which has been reclaimed and fully rehabilitated into a working natural habitat and wildlife preserve. Excellent for all sorts of family adventures including picnics and short hikes through the exciting forest areas.

After a lunch picnic at Lake McIntyre, a fun idea would be to visit the nearby Woakwine Wind Farms. This is the largest wind farm in the entire Southern Hemisphere. A unique attraction, it definitely requires a closer look and is well worth your time. Contact one of the local car hire services in the area and it.s a short drive from Lake McIntyre over to the wind farm. This is also a rather scenic drive with many interesting and beautiful locations such as the Vistara Trout Farm where you can buy fresh fish and many varieties of other local produce.

Millicent is in close proximity to so many natural wonders and opportunities for outdoor adventures. Several lakes are also nearby, including Australia.s body of fresh water, Lake Bonney. Just a short distance away is South Australia.s second biggest coastal reserve spanning an area of 40 kilometers all the way from Carpenter Rocks through Southend. Car hire services make this an enjoyable drive and this park is actually a favorite among four-wheel enthusiasts. There are also many beautiful walking trails that end with picturesque panoramic views of lakes and the local coastal wildlife.

A neighboring town of Tantanoola is relatively close to Millicent and also the location where you can view the Tantanoola Tiger. This is the famous creature that wandered the area and went on a killing spree of countless sheep before finally being shot in 1895.
