I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

We booked a Yaris or

We booked a Yaris or similar, but on arrival were allocated a larger Hyundai Accent which was too large for my wife to drive. ECCR at Hobart apparently have very few Yaris-sized cars. Fortunately we were going to be passing nearby a few days later so were able to substitute the Accent for a smaller Kia Rio for the rest of our trip, but Carrentals need to check more carefully what sort of cars are actually available - size does matter, and a bigger car than you've booked isn't necessarily acceptable to all customers.

Good range of vehicles available

Good range of vehicles available. The main problem was lack of information about the additional cost of a one-way hire. When you initially enter details of the desired hire, your website shows the same price as for returning to the same location. Only when you proceed with the actual booking does the additional one-way hire fee appear. This is seriously misleading.

Coober Pedy Guide

Coober Pedy is a small town near Adelaide in South Australia and is known for its opal mining. The opals mined here are so famous throughout the world, that the town is called the opal capital of the world. This town is named after the Aboriginal word kupa-piti meaning boys. waterhole. Coober Pedy is a relatively small town lying between Adelaide and Alice Springs and car hires can be taken from these towns to reach this town. Lying on the Stuart highway makes it easier to use car hires than any other transport to get to this town.

The town is marked by an aboriginal population, something which is not seen in the other towns of Australia. Though the aboriginal populace does not form the majority of the locals, there is a considerable amount of them living here. Railways offer an indirect connection to Coober Pedy with a railway line passing through the nearby Manguri siding. Hence car hires are the best option to get to this place. These car hires can also be used for taking a look around the city and one distinct attraction is the first tree made of metal scrap and which lies atop a hill.

This small town of Coober Pedy offers some interesting sites in the form of their mines, graveyard and underground churches. In fact, houses are built within hills by boring out caves to escape the temperate climate of the region. These cave houses are typical of the ground houses and are preferred because of the relief they provide during the summer season. Another interesting fact in this town is that golf is played at night here with lighted balls an artificial turf to escape the heat from the sun. The town is increasingly becoming a favored choice among film makers because of its photogenic nature.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
