Car Rental & Transportation to and From London Heathrow Airport
The quickest and easiest rail access into London central is the Heathrow Express (20 mins, every 15 minutes 24/7 - £15), from Paddington station. The Heathrow rail station is a 15 minute walk from the terminals.
The Piccadilly line of the London Underground stops at a station for Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and another for terminal 4. Average journey time from central London is approximately 50 to 60 minutes (£4) and is best avoided during rush hour. The service runs between 05:30 and 00:30.
By car, Heathrow is situated west of London well signposted on the M4. Exit at junction 3 for terminal 4 and junction 4 for Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Access is also possible from junction 14 off the M25.
A Railair bus service departs at least hourly from Heathrow to stations in Feltham, Reading, Woking and Watford Junction and the A2 AirBus service operates from all four terminals into central London every fifteen minutes.
The Hotel Hoppa runs from each terminal to the hotels situated close to the airport. The service runs from 05.30 - 23.30; tickets can be purchased from the bus desk in each terminal.
Famous London Black cabs are available outside the Arrivals hall of each terminal, a typical journey into Central London costs in excess of £40.
Heathrow offers four main types of parking on and around the airport grounds. These are, short-stay ( up to 5 hours), long-stay (eastern perimeter – with shuttle bus), business parking and valet parking (booking essential: + 44 (01883) 340089).
