Car Rental Liverpool Airport - Transportation to and From Liverpool Airport
There is no direct rail link to the station, however you can reach the nearby station of Garston by taxi or bus. Trains run to Garston every 15 minutes from Liverpool Central Station, with Liverpool Lime Street station offering excellent rail connections to the rest of the UK. The Arriva bus 80A (and the number 108 on Sundays) operates from Garston Station to the airport.
Arriva Bus 80A runs to and from the airport from Garston station, as well as Allerton, Mossley Hill, Toxteth and Liverpool City Centre. On Sundays this service is replaced by Bus 108. Onward connections are available from the National Express coach service, which runs coaches to and from Liverpool coach station on Norton Street in the city centre.
Taxis also operate from the airport, with the rank positioned in front of the terminal building.
If arriving by car, you will find Liverpool airport located south east of the city, next to the River Mersey. Driving from the city centre, take the A561 towards Runcorn and follow the signs to the airport. From the M56 cross over the river at Runcorn on the A557 and drive along the A561 following signs to the airport. From Warrington take the A road to Widnes and then bear on to the A561 turning off onto Speke Hall Avenue and follow the airport signs.
The short and long-term carparks are situated near the terminal building, while a pick-up and set-down point is available at the terminal main entrance.
