The New York New York Hotel and Casino is located in Paradise, Nevada. It is right on the Las Vegas Strip. It is one of the largest casinos in Las Vegas that is owned by MGM Mirage.

The theme of the hotel is obviously a New York theme. The theme is used throughout the hotel in a variety of different ways including the architecture that mimics the New York City skyline, towers that resemble the famous New York City skyscraper such as the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, and the front of the property features a pool that represents the New York Harbour. The pool has a half scale replica of the Statue of Liberty. Located there is also a roller coaster and several more replicas of New York City monuments including the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, the Grand Central Terminal, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

The resort has a great gambling area as well as bars, restaurants, and meeting rooms that are all names after landmarks and neighbourhoods of New York City. The main casino area is named after Central Park. The food court is modelled after Greenwich Village, and also included real menus from the city’s Chinese takeout restaurants. These menus are taped to the door of mock apartment buildings. The hotel’s slogan is the Greatest City in Las Vegas because it succeeds at being able to replicate the city so well. If you can’t make it to New York, you will always have the New York Hotel.
