Frankfurt Hahn Airport, a former American military airport, handles around 3.6 million passengers a year, flying to destinations in 12 countries. The largest scheduled airline is the budget Irish airline, Ryanair, which has 19 destinations.

From the end of 2004, there will be just one main terminal at the airport, with more space for shops and food.

Volksbank is currently located in Terminal 1 and has an ATM and currency exchange facility.

The bulk of the shops and restaurants are in Terminal 1 and include: Gusto Wine and Delicacies, Sunflight Optics, souvenir shops, a hair salon and a duty-free shop.

A business conference centre is located 1,500m from the terminals and has ample parking. There are eight seminar rooms with standard equipment, four seminar rooms with IT equipment, a cafeteria, and an assembly hall for larger events.

Facilities at the airport cater for the disabled; additionally, passengers with restricted mobility can park free of charge at car park P1 on presentation of an authorized aG, H or BL certificate.
