Car Rental Tenerife Airport - Transportation to and From Tenerife Airport
There is no rail connection to the airport, however several buses connect the terminal with destinations around the island.
The linea 102 bus connects the following destinations: Santa Cruz-Autopista Norte-La Laguna (estación/station de guaguas)-Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte-Autopista-El Botánico-Puerto de la Cruz. There are departures from the airport at 06:40, 07:40 and every 30 minutes until 21:40. The departures at 22:05, 22:35, 23:05 and 23:25 only run as far as La Laguna. Buses running to Puerto de la Cruz are also available, with departures at 6:50, 7:20 and every half-hour until 20:50. The prices are 1,05 € to Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz; 0,90 € to La Laguna.
The Línea 107 operates along the following route Santa Cruz-Autopista Norte-La Laguna (estación de guaguas)-Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte-Autopista Norte-La Orotava-Las Arenas-Realejo Bajo-San Juan de la Rambla-Icod de los Vinos-Garachico-Los Silos-Buenavista.
Another bus, the Línea 108 operates along the following route: Santa Cruz-Autopista Norte-La Laguna (estación de guaguas)-Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte-La Orotava-Las Arenas-Realejo Bajo-San Juan de la Rambla-Icod de los Vinos.
Once in Santa Cruz, you may take other bus routes to reach various destinations around the island.
Taxis are easily found outside the main terminals, and, along with shuttles, can take you anywhere on the island.
If you are driving to the airport, you may access the facility by approaching along the TF-5 motorway. There are four lanes on the road entering the airport, with two lanes for those arriving and two for passengers departing.
Public parking is situated opposite the new terminal building, and is distributed across three levels. There is capacity for 1000 cars and 22 coaches, with automatic ticket dispensers available for private car owners.
