One place that you may find is the Biblical Open Air Museum (Bijbels Openluchtmuseum). It is an amazing structure of the Holy Land, which is ancient. You will find streets of Roman, Jewish, Greek, and Egyptian buildings, a Palestinian hamlet, and a fishing village that is Galilean.

You can also visit the Stadsbrouwerij De Hemel, which is a brewery museum still in use. You will find things like a café, a small bed and breakfast, and of course, a brewery. It is located on the bottom floor of De Commanderie van St Jan, which is cloister from the 12th century. The brewery still makes traditional beer and beer brandy.

A church that you can see is the Grote Kerk, which was a dedication to St Stephen. They began construction on it in about 1260, and they had the first tower built around 1307. Remaining is not much of the original church, but there was rebuilding of the nave in the 1400s and additions to the church were made in the 16th and 17th centuries. It has been restored carefully from the damage done to it during World War II.

There is also a palace that you can find in Nijmegen called the Valkhof Palace. This is a big complex of churches and other related buildings that were made in the 8th century. Frederick Barbarosa rebuilt it in 1155, and the complex was the central part of the town until 1769.
