The area is quite bare, but there is an observation tower and labyrinth there that makes a cool place to visit as well.

There is an Africa Centre just on the outskirts of Maastricht that is in the Headquarters of the African Missionaries Society. It has a collection of artifacts from West Africa, which includes statues, jewelery, and masks. This collection is from many tribes, and dates back to the time of the 13th century.
