Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is one of the busiest airports in the world. Located on the southern coast of California 15 miles southwest of LA, LAX shares thousands of domestic and international commercial flights every year between its nine terminals. Los Angeles International Airport is a commerce leader, benefiting from modern facilities and excellent land, sea and air links.
Each of its nine terminal buildings serves a different group of airline companies. Several terminals serve mostly domestic American airlines, Terminals 2 and 5 house many non-American airline companies and Terminal 9 The Tom Bradley International Terminal, also handles long haul international flights.
ATMs are positioned in each terminal on both the arrivals and departures levels. Bureaux de change are situated in the departures halls of all terminals, and in the arrivals halls of the TBI (Tom Bradley International) Terminal and Terminals 2, 5 and 7.
There are an abundance of shops with duty-free shopping available in terminals 2-8, and in the Tom Bradley International Terminal. Bookshops, clothes outlets, sunglasses shops and many other shopping opportunities are on offer. For refreshment, you will find cafes, bars, restaurants and snack shops throughout the airport.
For the disabled, TDD telephones are located in Terminals 1-8. Designated parking areas are available and are appropriately located near lifts. In areas with metered parking, free-parking is available for those who have a special needs disc.
