Car Hire Jerez Airport - Mini guide to Jerez Airport
This clean, relatively quiet airport is modern and efficient, with a comprehensive range of passenger facilities. Presently, the airport serves approximately 600,000 passengers per year, with about five flights a day, mainly to Madrid, Barcelona and London Gatwick and Stansted airports.
There is only one passenger terminal to receive all airlines. The cargo terminal is located on the right hand side of the airport building as you enter. On the upper level of the passenger terminal there is a small restaurant with an extensive glass window looking on to the tarmac. Airlines serving Jerez Airport include: Iberia, Air Berlin, Hapag Lloyd, Britannia, Air Europa and Ryanair. There are 11 check-in desks and 2 gates.
Jerez Airport is well equipped with essential and helpful facilities. The airport has an exchange bureau, a first aid department, a baby/parent room, and disabled access and facilities. It is provided with ample leisure facilities, including a small, comfortable self-service restaurant, cafés, bars, a duty free centre and a newsagent/tobacconist.
Airport parking is presently sufficient - there are 457 short-term parking spaces and 547 long-term spaces. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes; thereafter each hour is charged at a rate of 0.75. The day rate is 6.31 and a holiday ticket costs 31.85. Jerez Airport is situated about five kilometres north of the city on the N4 motorway, and there are no airport buses so taxis are your only option. A one-way trip to the city centre takes about 15 minutes, and the standard rate is approximately 10.
