Car Hire Ibiza Airport - Mini guide to Ibiza Airport
Ibiza airport is the principle port of entry for most visitors to the island. It has daily connections to the Spanish mainland and the neighbouring island of Mallorca all year round. From spring until late autumn, the island is also served by international charter flights from many major European centres. The airport is situated 7km from Ibiza town and 5km from San Jorge.
There is one terminal in the airport, but it is adequately equipped to cope with the high summer traffic, and provide facilities for the many tourists and business clientele.
You will find most facilities available when flights are operating. Banking provisions include ATMs, a bureau de change and a bank.
Refreshment is provided by many fast food outlets, bars, restaurants, a cake shop and a café, whilst shopping possibilities include duty-free, newsagents, a sweets shop, local crafts and souvenirs, gifts and jewelery shops. A patisserie and sweets shop are also available in the Terminal.
The business traveller will find a conference hall for up to 80 people available for hire. Facilities include 40 computers, TV, video and overhead projector, and the centre may be contacted at tel: + 34 971 809 244.
Physical access for the disabled is adequate with lifts, lowered pavements, adapted telephones and special toilets all present in the terminal. As for parking, there are five dedicated parking-spaces available in the carpark.
An information desk (open 24/7 May-October and 07:00-24:00 November-April) is available in the terminal. Further information on local and regional tourism is available at a travel agency desk, Viajes Atalaya, present in the terminal.
