Car Rental & Transportation to and From Durham Tees Valley Airport

The airport is easily accessible from the centre of Darlington. If you want to drive from Darlington, follow the A67 towards Yarm, from where the airport is signposted. If you are travelling from the north or the south, it is much easier to follow the A1(M) or the A19. From these roads, you can join the A66 and then follow the signposts to the airport.

By bus, Arriva provides regular services between Durham Tees Valley Airport and Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough and Yarm.

The nearest train station is in Darlington, which is about 11kms from the airport. From the train station, you can take a taxi or a bus to the airport.
