Cork Airport is situated 10 minutes outside of Cork city, a short 5-mile drive along the Kinsale road. It serves as a direct link to the beautiful and diverse landscape of southern Ireland. Connections to mainland Europe, the UK and domestic flights to Dublin are available. Chartered flights serve destinations in the Mediterranean and northern Africa, whilst scheduled transatlantic flights are also available.
There is just one terminal in the airport, with check-ins located on the ground floor of the terminal.
At Cork the banking facilities are open from 07.30 to 17.30 hours. The bureau de change facility operates from hours 06.45 - 20.00, Mon-Fri. Outside of these hours you may use a currency exchange machine located on the ground floor. ATM machines located on the ground floor will dispense both Sterling and Euro.
A Post box is located beside the Information Desk in the Main Terminal. To purchase postage stamps, refer to the Skyshop located on the ground floor of the Terminal building.
Good Restaurants and Public areas are provided. Café Kylemore is located on the first floor. The Café is open from 0500 to 2030 and caters for all tastes from sandwiches to a full a la carte menu. The Wild Geese Bar/Lounge is also situated on the first floor behind the restaurant. It is large and spacious yet very intimate. It is open from first arrival to last departure.
Disabled passengers are well provided for and a "take to plane" service is available when required.
