Car Hire in Brisbane - Queens Street - Mini guide to Brisbane - Queens Street
There are many reasons to come to Queensland, Australia, but I think one of the best ones would be to come to the great Brisbane. This is a great city in Australia that has some of the best history to tell. They have many great landmarks that are worth seeing when you come to this great place. It is sure to be a treat for the whole family when you make your way down these streets of History. While you are in Brisbane, you might as well stop to see the Brisbane River, and maybe even the Moreton Bay. You will be happy you chose to do so.
If you are not into looking at water when you come to Brisbane, then you may want to check out some of the historical sites. The first one that is worth a look would have to be the Shrine of Remembrance. This shrine is founded in ANZAC Square and is a must see when in this wonderful city. The shrine itself is used as a way of remembrance for the people that have died in Australia's wars. It really is a sight to see. Another great place to see while you are down there is the MacArthur Central (which used to be called the AMP Building). During World War II this building was used as the South West Pacific headquarters. This makes it a historical spot, not only for Australia, but for the world. I am a big fan of everything that has to do with history. I guess that is why I enjoy going to Brisbane so much.
